For now, you can proceed with an estimated birth time, or enter 12:00 pm (noon) into the CHANI app or our online chart tool, with the understanding that your reading will be less precise. If you do find a more accurate birth time, you can change it at any point in your account settings of the app.
Here are some ways that you might track down an accurate time of birth:
- A friend or family member who might know your birth time.
- Inquire with the hospital where you were born, or with your state (or province, etc.) of birth's registry. Make sure to specifically request a long-form birth certificate with your time of birth on it.
- If you aren’t able to source an exact time of birth, you can go through a process called rectification with an astrologer.
