Subscriptions to CHANI premium automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the renewal date. The process of managing your subscription will be different, depending on whether you purchased your subscription via the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
How Do I Change My Subscription Cadence?
If you would like to switch your monthly subscription to an annual one, or vice versa, you may do so at any time. Please keep in mind that your changes will not take affect until after your current subscription period ends.
iOS Users
- Select Account Settings from the top right menu (≡) in the CHANI app (iOS) and navigate down to Subscription Status.
- Here you’ll see a pink Manage button; this will launch an App Store popup that displays your active subscriptions.
- Choose the subscription for CHANI, and select “See All Plans."
- Select your preferred subscription plan and the App Store will then ask you to confirm with your Apple ID login.
Android Users
- Follow the guidance below to cancel your current subscription.
- Once your subscription ends, the paywall will reappear in the CHANI app.
- Select your preferred subscription plan from the paywall.
- Follow the prompts to confirm your payment method with your Google Account.

Canceling your subscription on the Apple App Store
Canceling your subscription on the Google Play Store
If you cancel, you can keep using your subscription until the next billing date. Please note that canceling your subscription will prevent the app from renewing your subscription on your next billing date and will not trigger a refund for the time remaining in your current billing period.
If you signed up for a free trial or used an offer code for the CHANI app, and you don't want to roll into a subscription once the offer expires, you will need to cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or offer period ends. Google Play handles subscriptions for the CHANI app on Android devices. Google doesn't give refunds for most Google Play purchases. However, you may be able to get a refund depending on the details within 48 hours of the purchase:
- Go to play.google.com.
- At the top right, click your Profile picture.
- Click Payments & subscriptions and then Budget & order history.
- For the order you want to return, click Report a problem.
- Select the option that describes your situation.
- Complete the form and note that you'd like a refund.
- Click Submit.
If you find a Google Play purchase on your card or other payment method that you didn't make and that wasn't made by anyone you know, report unauthorized charges within 120 days of the transaction.
