Offer Code Redemption Connection Error
The offer code redemption area is controlled directly by the App Store. If you are seeing a connection message, please reach out to Apple's customer support page and ask for assistance with resolving this issue between the App Store and your Apple ID.
We also recommend, confirming your payment method stored in your Apple ID is up-to-date. Although this is a free trial offer, Apple may require your account to have valid payment info in order to use trial offer codes because they use Apple's in-app purchase technology. In addition to this, we recommend making sure there aren't any restrictions on purchase or in-app features set up in your iOS. You can also try to use the code on a different iOS device to see if it resolves the issue.
If you are outside the USA, it is also important to note that Apple will convert the currency values of your purchase to your region based on their own calculations, which may differ significantly from the exchange rate your bank is offering on any given day. In these automatic currency conversions, Apple also includes a digital services sales tax for the country associated with your Apple ID. Click here to learn more about international pricing.
