How to get a CHANI app offer code
People who have recently placed qualified orders in our online store will receive an offer code postcard shipped with their purchase.
Please note, these offer codes are for new and expired users, and you will not be charged for the first month, but after the trial period is over, your Apple ID account will automatically renew your plan at our monthly subscription rate ($11.99 USD billed monthly) unless you cancel your subscription or switch to our annual plan ($107.99 USD billed annually) at least 24 hours before your trial period ends.
If you placed a qualified order on our online store but did not receive an offer code postcard, please email us with your order number, so we can look further into this issue.
How to redeem an offer code
Offer codes can be redeemed directly in the CHANI app (iOS) by clicking any of the premium content areas, such as Transits, and clicking on the light pink ‘Redeem an Offer Code’ button at the bottom of the paywall page. You will then type in your unique code into the redemption pop-up after reading the terms and conditions.
Once you have typed in your code, click 'return' on your keyboard. If successful, you will see a confirmation pop-up. Then click the back button which will return you to the paywall page which will disappear after a second or two.
Offer code not working
Please note, offer codes can only be redeemed by new and expired users in the CHANI app (iOS). If after you have typed in your code, and clicked 'return' on your keyboard, you are still unable to successfully redeem the offer code, please email us a screenshot of the offer code and the email address associated with your CHANI user account, so we can look further into the issue. If you already have a premium subscription, it makes a great gift for a friend you think would enjoy the app.
Offer Code Redemption Connection Error
The offer code redemption area is controlled directly by the App Store. If you are seeing a 'connection' message, please reach out to Apple's customer support page and ask for assistance into resolving this issue between the App Store and your Apple ID.
We also recommend, confirming your payment method store in your Apple ID is up-to-date. Although this is a free trial offer, Apple may require your account to have valid payment info in order to use trial offer codes because they use Apple's in-app purchase technology. In addition to this, we recommend making sure there aren't any restrictions on purchase or in-app features set up in your iOS. You can also try to use the code on a different iOS device to see if it resolves the issue.
If you are outside the USA, it is also important to note that Apple will convert the currency values of your purchase to your region based on their own calculations, which may differ significantly from the exchange rate your bank is offering on any given day.
