The CHANI app includes support for iOS and Android Password AutoFill features to make logging into the CHANI app incredibly easy.
To utilize this feature, please be sure you have the latest version of the CHANI app installed, and have AutoFill enabled in your device’s settings.
For iOS Users: Use iCloud Keychain or other password managers.
- Confirm your iOS is 14.2 or above, and that you are on the latest version of the CHANI app.
- We recommend keeping Automatic App Updates toggled On in Settings > App Store.
- Go to iOS Settings > Passwords > Password Options and make sure AutoFill Passwords and Passkeys is toggled on.
To verify the correct password is saved for the CHANI app:
- Search the Passwords list for chaninicholas.com and verify that you have the correct, current password saved for your account.
- Go to iOS Settings > Touch ID/Face ID & Passcode and enable Password Autofill.
For Android users: Use Google Password Manager
Important: These steps may vary on your device. You can also search your settings app for “autofill service” to go to this setting directly.
- Check that your version of Android is up-to-date, and that you are using the latest version of the CHANI app.
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Settings app.
- Scroll down and select System > Languages & input.
- Select Advanced > Autofill service > Autofill service.
- Alternatively, this might be found under Settings > Security & privacy > Autofill service with Google.
- Make sure Use Autofill with Google is turned on.
- Alternatively, this might be found under Settings > Security & privacy > Autofill service with Google.
- Select Google > OK.
- Select Back > Settings .
- Make sure Use Autofill with Google is turned on.
To verify you are using the correct Google Account and the CHANI app password is saved:
- Confirm that the Google Account listed under "Account" is the one you want to use.
- Select Google Password Manager and search passwords for CHANI.
- Confirm that the password saved under your CHANI app account is the correct, current password.
Password AutoFill not working?
Make sure you have only one login and password saved for the CHANI app in your saved passwords.
All CHANI app accounts log in with an email address. If your password is saved under something else, please edit the saved password, and change your user name to your email address.
