In terms of how the Guidebook and the Year Ahead workshop are different/similar, think podcast vs. book on the same topic (in this case, 2022 for your sign). Both are useful, distinct, and offer different ways of accessing and referencing what you are learning about yourself and your year. It all depends on how you like to take in information — are you a visual learner? Would you rather listen to information? If you enjoy audio and visual learning, you might consider having both to cross-reference.
The Year Ahead workshop included in CHANI app premium subscriptions is predominantly a series of audio recordings to listen to on the go, while you are cooking dinner, or doing laundry. It also offers journal prompts, altar suggestions, rituals and guided meditations around 4 themes of the year.
The Guidebook is not available on the app. It is a separate and distinct product that begins with a detailed overview of the year’s astrology that you can reference throughout the year. It includes tips on how to make the most of these astrological moments, a diary of dates, and bonus educational content along the way (e.g. Eclipse etiquette 101, How to work with Mercury Retrograde, etc). Part 2 of the Guidebook delves into the year for your specific sign and includes homework, journal prompts, affirmations, and more specific to your sign for each quarter.
Our recommendation? The two make great companions to each other!
