Here is a step-by-step guide to resetting your password.
- CHANI App: Log In screen.
Below the password field on that screen you should see text that says "Forgot password?" click on that text.
- CHANI App: Forgot Password screen.
Enter your account email in the “E-Mail Address” field and press send.
Without closing the Chani App go to your email inbox and find the password reset email and write down the confirmation code it contains.
If you can’t find the email in your inbox, check your spam box as well as run a search for an email subject: “Oops! Reset your password for CHANI“. Please be sure to 'whitelist' email address firstname.lastname@example.org in your email provider, you might need to ask your IT department if you are using a work email address.
- CHANI App: Forgot Password Confirmation Code screen.
Return to app and type, don’t copy and paste, the confirmation code into the “Confirmation Code” field.
You will then create a new password following the password guidelines. Once you created a password that fulfills all the guidelines click “Confirm”.

Log in using your email address and new password.

Making the process of logging in much easier. To avoid password resets in the future, all you need to do is make sure your device has this feature enabled:
Go to iOS Settings > Passwords > AutoFill Passwords, then turn on.
